Over the past two decades, rising temperatures and frequent natural calamities—such as floods, storms and droughts—have severely impacted the lives of people in Odisha. In response, GREENOVIBE has been actively working in Subarnapur District, one of the hottest regions in Western Odisha, to combat climate change and promote environmental protection.
But it's not just Subarnapur—much of Western Odisha is facing a climate crisis. Water scarcity, erratic rainfall, thunderstorms, lightning, and prolonged droughts are increasingly threatening both lives and livelihoods.
At GREENOVIBE, we are committed to being agents of change. With strong local support, we're leading plantation drives, promoting ecological education, celebrating "Green Birthdays," and launching innovative initiatives aimed at restoring balance to our environment. Together, we strive to protect nature and build a sustainable future for Odisha.
We bring life back to the land through rewilding—planting trees, restoring green spaces and protecting natural habitats. This not only shields biodiversity but also acts as nature's defense against rising heat waves, creating cooler, healthier and more resilient ecosystems.
Plastic and chemical pollution threaten our rivers, soil and air. At Greenovibe, we turn waste into awareness and solutions promoting responsible disposal, recycling and community-led clean-ups to restore balance and reduce the toxic footprint of human activity.
The future belongs to the young and so does the responsibility of caring for our planet. Through engaging workshops, school programs and community campaigns, we nurture eco-consciousness, making children and communities active warriors against climate change.
